Content Summary : How to Use this Manual Throughout this manual, advice and instructions are offered regarding the use of the RPC Broker V. 1.1 and the functionality it provides for Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (V IST A) and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software products. There are no special legal requirements involved in the use of the RPC Broker Interface. This manual uses several methods to highlight different aspects of the material: • Various symbols are used throughout the documentation to alert the reader to special information.
