There are several areas to be confirmed by OSCP. Theremote mirroring area using Remote Equivalent Copy (REC) is addressed in this document. The other area ofOSCP and Remote One Point Copy (ROPC) is not included in this document. As part of the Oracle Storage Compatibility Program (OSCP), Oracle provides a test suit for third parties toperform self-test to confirm compatibility for remote mirroring. This test suit confirms the compatibility torecover database for disaster recovery in various scenarios. Based on these scenarios and the referencedocument issued from Oracle, this guideline describes how to recover an Oracle database using the GR740Remote Equivalent Copy (REC) feature.
