In the Welcome Screen you see that there are tutorials available to you. Feel free to check these out. For now close the screen by clicking the Close button. 3. Open your digital photograph with \\File\\Open… 4. In the Open window Click the “From” tab and choose the Desktop option. 5. Slide the blue horizontal slider left and right until you see the blue highlighted word “Desktop.” 6. In the column to the right of that, you should see all the files and folders that are sitting on your desktop. Navigate to your file and double-click it. 7. Note: You may load PhotoShop and an image simultaneously by dragging your image to the green feather PhotoShop icon. 8. Caution: Double clicking a file that was not created with Photoshop will not open Photoshop. 9. The photo is black and white but we want it to be color so change the mode from gray scale to RGB color with \\Image\\Mode\\RGB.
