Getting Started with Adobe Photoshop 6.0 Starting Photoshop You can start Photoshop using either of two methods: Double-click on the Photoshop application icon. This icon is usually in a folder called Photoshop. It also appears on the desktop of the computers in the Student Microcomputer Facility. Double-click on the icon of any Photoshop document on your computer. Photoshop then opens with the document already loaded.
