Our forged aluminum-alloy pistons are an update of the highly acclaimed “1400 Kit” which was popular when Giuliettas were new. The 8.3% increase in displacement greatly improves midrange torque. This will give your engine a flatter, broader torque curve with much greater flexibility. Compression ratio on a Normale is 9.5:1, and on a Veloce it is 10.0:1. No machining of the block is required. Pistons, piston pins and clips, and Hastings Piston Rings are included. The 1400 pistons will fit either 750, 101, or 105 1300 engines. Have your old liners bored, or install a set of our prebored liners on an exchange basis. No discounts apply to pistons and liners.
